Getting there
The conference venue is the Escuela Politécnica Superior, belonging to the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, and located in the Campus of Cantoblanco.
Once in the campus, you can reach any point of the campus on foot in a pleasant few minutes walk.
You can get to the campus:
- By airplane: The Madrid Barajas Airport is a major international airport with flights to many cities. It is conveniently connected to the university campus by commuter train (Cercanías). From Terminal T4 Airport take line C1 to Chamartin and then take line C4 to Cantoblanco universidad.
- By train: From Madrid, on the C4 line of the commuter train (Cercanías), in the direction of Colmenar Viejo or Alcobendas-S. Sebastián de los Reyes. From Alcobendas-S. Sebastian de los Reyes, on the C4 line of the commuter train, in the direction of Atocha or Sol. The following map shows how to go from Cantoblanco train station to INISTA venue.
- By bus:
- Line 714 (This bus stops right at the conference venue, the Escuela Politécnica Superior) Plaza de Castilla - UAM
Departure / Return - Line 827 Madrid (Canillejas) - Airport T4 - Alcobendas - UAM - Tres Cantos
Departure / Return - Line 827A San Sebastián de los Reyes - Alcobendas - UAM
Departure / Return - Line 828 Madrid (Campo de las Naciones) - Airport T4 - Alcobendas - UAM
Departure / Return - By car: Take the M-607 from Madrid to Colmenar Viejo, take the turnoff at Km 15 (south entrance), or after taking the turnoff at Km 17 (north entrance) towards Alcobendas (M-616), then take the first exit at the first roundabout towards the north entrance of the UAM. For getting to the conference venue we recommend the north entrance.
